Valerie Uselman

The San Juan College Board of Trustees swore in Valerie Uselman at the January 7, 2020 meeting. She represents District 7.

Uselman is a lifelong resident of Farmington, New Mexico. She is a 1972 graduate of Farmington High School as well as a graduate of Brigham Young University with a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and English and a minor in Linguistics, concentration in Navajo. She taught English at Farmington High School from 1985 to 1989, later working in a business with her father. She earned her real estate license in 2004 and currently works at Keller Williams Realty.

She enjoys time with her family and husband Mark. They have been married for 45 years, raised five sons and are proud grandparents and great grandparents.
